Alpine Pass
Ingredients
- 30ml Altitude Alpine Dry Gin
- 25ml Apple Juice
- 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15ml Blueberry Purée
- 10ml Vanilla Syrup
- 30ml Soda Water
- 3 dashes Absinthe
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Garnish: Mint sprig and fresh blueberries
Method
Prepare the glass: Fill a large tumbler or copa glass generously with crushed ice.
Build the flavour: In a shaker, combine Altitude Alpine Dry Gin, apple juice, lemon juice, blueberry purée, vanilla syrup and fresh mint leaves. Add ice and shake hard until beautifully chilled.
Pour: Strain over the crushed ice and top with soda water for a crisp alpine lift.
Finish: Add three dashes of absinthe over the top for an aromatic mountain edge. Garnish with fresh mint and a scattering of blueberries.
Altitude Tip
For the ultimate après-ski serve, lightly clap the mint before garnishing to release its oils. A touch of rosemary smoke over the glass also adds a rich chalet-style finish that pairs perfectly with the blueberry and alpine botanicals.
