While the classic uses vodka, the botanicals in our Alpine Dry Gin—myrtle, elderflower, and pine—elevate the savory tomato notes to something much more sophisticated.
50ml Altitude Alpine Dry Gin
200ml Double Dutch Bloody Mary Soda
Celery
Cherry Tomatoes
The perfect antidote for the night before...our own style of Bloody Mary with pizazz!
Ingredients
- 50ml Altitude Alpine Dry Gin
- 200ml Double Dutch Bloody Mary Soda
- Garnish: A fresh stalk of celery and skewered cherry tomatoes
- Optional: A crack of black pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon
- Method
- Chill your glass: Fill a highball or large copa glass with plenty of crystal-clear ice.
- The Base: Pour the 50ml of Altitude Alpine Dry Gin over the ice.
- The Mix: Top slowly with the Double Dutch Bloody Mary Soda. The pre-blended spices in the soda will marry perfectly with the gin’s botanicals without needing a shaker.
- The Lift: Give it a gentle stir with a long spoon to integrate the flavors without losing the carbonation.
- The Garnish: Add a leafy stalk of celery (great for stirring!) and a skewer of two cherry tomatoes.
Altitude Tip
For an extra savory "Alpine" kick, rim the glass with a mixture of sea salt and dried rosemary before you start. It complements the pine notes in the gin beautifully.
